An exciting programme of onsite events to create a world of whisky and spirits that will offer visitors an expressive experience.

AFC whisky & Spirit World will attract many professional alcoholic beverage companies to join in, showing their high-end and premium whisky and spirits of this kind. The organizer together with China National Research Institute of Food & Fermentation Industries, British Consulate-General Shanghai, Scottish Development Investment, Bord Bia and British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong to create an upgraded and themed AFC whisky & Spirit World featured with a variety of activities including bartending, tasting, salon, forum and panel discussion. Well-known bartenders such as Kin-san, Ouyang zhian and Joy chen have been invited to attend onsite activities, which will provide an opportunity for potential trade visitors to learn and experience the history, the brewing technology and taste of the whisky.

Kin san

Kin-san, with his name is well known in China and APAC as the first bartender master that dedicate for classic cocktail 30 years ago. He set up the first classic cocktail bar in Shanghai China 1990, and it now becomes a bar group – Constellation Bar has more than 10 bars national wide. Kin is focus on coaching the new bartenders for the foundation spirit of bartending, take up the role as professional jury, as speaker for master classes and 4 years ago Kin worked with Modern Bartender online course platform to produce the first classic online course program, with 132 recipes.

Ouyang zhian

Ouyang Zhian started out in the food and beverage industry in 1999. He participated in the World Flair Bartending Championship in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2001 and the rest is history. He became the first Chinese bartender to win a global flair bartending competition. He is a key opinion leader in China’s beverage industry, he’s been advocating the innovation of drinks and the integration of food and beverage. His first book, titled , was published in 2014. The new book is published in May, 2020.
